Filters help advisors locate and discover new information about their advisees.
In the top-right corner of the advisor's Students List, there is a "Filters" button. Clicking this button slides open a menu with a curated set of the most popular data points to filter the student list by.
Once filters are applied, the student list will only display the students who meet the set criteria. The option to create a Group from this subset of students is revealed at the bottom of the list.
Once created, a Group is saved and can be referenced on the Groups tab on the Advisor's Landing page. Groups are dynamic, so as the data changes, members may be added or removed from the group.
Groups have two main functions:
Once a group is created, you can send a message to all the current members of that group. This allows advisors to create targeted bulk messages for a subsection of their advisees - and saves the rest from getting bombarded by information that may not be relevant to them.
Once a Message is created, a Message Details page will display the subject and content of the message, a list of recipients, and indications of which users have actually opened the message and when. Each recipient will also have the message notated on the Success Stream on their Student Report.
